-- Elizabeth Buie |
Note: Antonio Vallone died March 31, 2001, of prostate cancer. He recorded this on January 31 of that year and transcribed it himself. He spoke and wrote it half in Italian and half in English, and I (his widow, a native English speaker who speaks Italian fairly well) translated each half into the other language. Please excuse any imperfections in my Italian. (I am also working on preparing the recording for posting here in the Pelago.) -- Elizabeth Buie |

Traduzione in allestimento! Ho detto, "sì, perché no?" Now that gives them also the capability of flying , so that they can let go from the hook under the roof lets say, and fly awayand come back.. That's why they are also called the "flying men", "gli uomini volanti". (I also see them as much smaller than the simple man, say two feet. But this may just be a psychological impression. After all hanging man and Aucca are products of dream extracted content of my unconscious. But to me their principal characteristic is their capability of hanging together. Now they are not different from the other men., there is no biological difference. They can reproduce, everything is equal.. But for this capability. In any case, their main, I would like to, and that what is related to Aucca, is the capability of hanging together by which I mean, and they are aware of it, the capability of exchanging their feelings of exchanging their inner motives because they are so close to each other when thy are hanging together that each one has the same, more or less of course, the same feelings as the other and when, they can put themselves more or less in the same pouch so at the end there is this group of people all enveloped in this huge pouch that they divide with each other and in this conditions they are so close to each other that they are about one single entity of wills or feelings not so much of conceptual knowledge, feelings is .. well I do not if to say yes. The major concept beyond Aucca, and Aucca is this hanging together there is not strong difference, thatŐs why I said I discovered Aucca together with the hanging man and what they stand for because Aucca is this attempt to hang together as human beings. Now, why Aucca. A major contradiction in life, something that I believe is keeping the human mind fighting since thousand of years is the inconsistency between goodness of life someone calls it goodness of god but that is immaterial as far as I am concerned, between the goodness of life and the pain, the badness so called , that exists in life How that can be. Why. Why there may be such good things as creation, continuous creation by life and such bad things as death and pain and losses. And Aucca is an attempt by hanging together an attempt of understanding and eventually not only acceptance but agreement with the pain. Now agreement with the pain means to overcome it to, in a sense they said other times, step aside from the contingencies of life and look at them from a higher view point which is agreement and that is, I do not say the highest, but it is a very high achievement of enrichment. Now, Aucca has several, quote unquote, levels, I do not know all of them I forgot them in the development and there are symbols: H stands for the hanging man, and S stands for the simple man. When I say simple is not in a discounting form. The simple man is a very important element of the human being. Perhaps is the most important because is the usual. Among the simple man there is the flying man. I discovered there are people that like so much to fly that that's a kind of second nature for them, people the pioneering of flying people like Icarus. And in this case flying is not just the physical act but also the spiritual act of going above any kind the usual emotions. But also all the other people that have their own specifics characteristics, even though some of them we may discount but each characteristics is important for the achievement6 of the full enrichment. Now, Aucca is an attempt of overcoming the contradiction between pain and life. Another attempt, and unfortunately is perhaps the most widespread is the creation of evil. The way to explain why pain is there is to assume that god either is enjoying the pain that he created together with life or that there is an enemy of god, an enemy of life which enjoys in creating pain and making humanity the source and the receiver of pain. E non lo accetto. I cannot accept the existence of a god that enjoys pain or the existence of an enemy of god. My tenet is that evil does not exist. It is an artificial quote unquote creation of the human mind which is very capable in this conceptual lets say key activity of creating consistent components of what may look like life. And they enjoy it the human mind enjoys it. It is one most interesting activities, they can tell you of creating artificial words of creating what today we may call virtual reality what is more so beautiful than virtual reality and appealing. You cannot recognize actual reality from virtual reality unless you are capable of stepping aside and look at it from an emotional view point. When you look at it from the deep emotion you can see that virtual reality is artificial. It is just an intellectual creation. Does not have emotion while the real life is emotion is full of emotion. The conceptual component of real life is so minuscule and self -- I do not say self-contradictory but about. So thatŐs my tenet, that evil does not exist, evil is created by the human mind and can be uncreated by the human mind... if within the creation of evil we are capable and willing full to inject the emotion to inject the concept of enrichment. So, I do not know exactly what to say. The final Aucca, the final Aucca step agreement. The symbol of agreement is the photograph of clasped hands printed with the highest resolution and reproduced as a pin in chrome. Mercoledì 31 Gennaio 2001, 12:45 Note: tutto questo simbolismo di Aucca di parlare di hanging man è chiaro che è un metodo per l'inconscio per esprimere se stesso. What I call enrichment is increasing our awareness, our consciousness, |
What I want to talk about now are these concepts connected with Aucca. Aucca is, let's say, a movment -- a movement among humans. I discovered it suddenly, when the hanging men, the men that hang together, proposed that I hang together with them: "Why don't we hang together tonight?" -- a classic expression of American youth, very beautiful, very friendly. I said "yes, why not?" Until I discovered that for them "to hang" means literally to hook themselves under a roof, put themselves in a pouch of skin that they have, and hang there in the wind. And I said, "Well, perhaps... I'm not so sure..." "But we are going to hold you." "Ya, but you know..." Now, as I said, I discovered simultaneously the existence of the hanging man and the existence of Aucca. "And Aucca stands for...?" It's a name. Beautiful, "Aucca", sounds well). Now, there is the simple man and, as far as I know, the hanging man. The simple man is the normal man, the one that everyone believes to know. The hanging man instead is a genetic variation. The main difference is to have this pouch of skin with a kind of hook at the end, in which they can hang themselves. Now that gives them also the capability of flying, so that they can let go from the hook under the roof, let's say, and fly away and come back. ThatŐs why they are also called the "flying men", "gli uomini volanti." (I also see them as much smaller than the simple man, say two feet. But this may just be a psychological impression. After all, hanging man and Aucca are products of dream-extracted content of my unconscious. But to me their principal characteristic is their capability of hanging together.) Now they are not different from the other men, there is no biological difference. They can reproduce, everything is equal. But for this capability. In any case, their main, I would like to, and that what is related to Aucca, is the capability of hanging together, by which I mean (and they are aware of it) the capability of exchanging their feelings, of exchanging their inner motives, because they are so close to each other when thy are hanging together that each one has the same -- more or less, of course -- the same feelings as the others and at the same time; they can put themselves more or less in the same pouch so at the end there is this group of people all enveloped in this huge pouch that they divide with each other and in this condition they are so close to each other that they are about one single entity of wills or feelings not so much of conceptual knowledge, feelings is ... well I do not if to say yes. The symbol of agreement is the photograph of clasped hands, with the contrast increased so that it becomes almost a line drawing, and printed with the highest resolution and reproduced as a pin in chrome. Wednesday, 31 January 2001, 12:45 PM Note: All this symbolism of Aucca, of speaking of the hanging man, It's clear that it is a way for the unconscious to express itself. What I call enrichment is increasing our awareness, our consciousness, |
